Kirsty has spent more than two decades at the heart of the renewable energy sector, building a career that spans engineering, project delivery, leadership and strategic consultancy.

She began her career in engineering, developing a strong technical foundation before moving into project management roles during the early growth of the solar industry in the UK. Over time, she progressed into senior leadership positions, including nearly 18 years at Solarcentury, where she played a key role in delivering commercial and residential solar projects at scale.

Kirsty later joined Syzygy, where she held senior leadership roles including Projects Director and Director of Renewable Energy Solutions & Responsible Business. Here, she was responsible not only for delivering complex renewable projects, but also for embedding responsible business practices, health and safety leadership, and long-term sustainability into operations.

More recently, Kirsty has moved into independent consulting, supporting renewable energy organisations on project delivery, safety, and responsible business strategy. Alongside this, she is a UK Ambassador for RePower Ukraine, contributing to initiatives that deliver solar energy solutions to hospitals and provide training to veterans.

Kirsty brings a rare combination of technical depth, delivery experience and human-centred leadership. She understands that successful projects are not just about engineering and timelines, but about people, safety, accountability and long-term impact.
